The Kurdistan Air Quality Initiative (KAQI) is a nationwide infrastructure for monitoring air quality in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The work originated form an MSc research project to design and implement an infrastructure for air quality monitoring as the region does not have any system or infrastructure to monitor air pollution. This initiative aims to provide a final solution that considers designing air monitoring devices, network infrastructure to a centralized platform for monitoring and visualization of the collected data geospatially in the KRI.
